Position Summary Develops, plans, coordinates, organizes, directs, and evaluates the MDS and Care Planning activities/systems for the campus in accordance with scope of practice, doctors' orders, established company policies and procedures, standards, and guidelines; current federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the nursing department and campus; and as directed by the supervisor by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate team members. In this role you will:
- Develop, supervise, plan, coordinate, organize, direct, evaluate, and monitor the MDS, CAAs, and care planning process in the campus
- Assist with the resident admission process as designated by the Director of Nursing
- Complete administrative duties such as completing appropriate forms, inspections, reports, OSCAR reports, assessments, MDS', CAAs, care plans, progress notes, and similar items as assigned
Qualified candidates will have:
- Graduate from an accredited school of Nursing approved by the State of Nebraska
- Possess a valid RN or LPN license from the appropriate state. This shall include maintaining required CEU's. RN license preferred, but LPN candidates will also be considered
- Experience in Long Term or Acute Care and MDS/RAPS/Care Planning
- Must be willing and able to become CPR and first aid certified
