Mech Assembler - Drive Rods 1st Shift - La-Z-Boy : Job Details

This position is responsible for assembling and sub-assembling metal parts to produce La-Z-Boys chairs and sofas. Operators will receive, unload, sort, stock and prepare mechanisms for production. Job Description:KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned): - Assemble metal parts according to La-Z-Boys quality requirements. - Stock parts timely. - Operate a riveting machine or screw gun. - Identify/troubleshoot quality issues. - Rework non-conforming parts as necessary. - Inspect work visually for defects according to our quality standards. - Complete ticket process in system accurately. - Operate equipment in a safe, accurate and efficient manner. - Control quality and waste. - Demonstrate teamwork and motivation for job requirements. - Follow health and safety standards. - Maintain a clean work area.
