Are you interested in being a pickup truck mechanic? WFC is seeking a detail-oriented mechanic whose primary responsibility will be troubleshooting and working with a fleet of approximately 100 pick-up trucks while assisting with farm tractors, semi tractors, skid steers and loaders in a safe manner.Hours:Monday through Friday 7 AM 5 PM with occasional seasonal flexibility for the planting and harvest seasonsThis is a full-time position that includes a range of benefit options!QualificationsMinimum 2 years experience maintaining anything mobile with an engine, wheels and brakes to the hard-core diesel rebuilder (Experience level determines career ladder placement)Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)Drivers License required with an acceptable driving recordEnjoys a daily challenge to tackle a project working with a team or independently to keep the farm operating efficientlyAbility to use software and hardware available to troubleshoot and diagnoseWillingness to help, learn and try anything even if outside a comfort zoneCommunicates to make suggestions for process to improve for the shop, farm or teamBasic Microsoft Office systems knowledge to navigate email and other business informationJob ResponsibilitiesAdheres to all safety policies and proceduresSafely maintains various types of farm equipment including but not limited to trucks, tractors and equipment, skid steers and loadersKeeps equipment updated and operational when neededProactively identifies need for parts and maintenanceReports and documents information to track progress and expenses using softwareOperates routinely used tools and equipmentPerforms routine inspections of equipment and ensures equipment is kept cleanMay be required to travel to another work site close by and work different hours based on the needs of the seasonSkills / CompetenciesSafe Work HabitsQuality of WorkQuantity of WorkTechnical knowledgeCommunication EffectivenessDependable work habitsStrong work ethicsWysocki Family Farms is an EEO EmployerPI4bae6cf37867-31181-#######8.
