As a Small Engine and Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining small engines and various types of equipment used in landscaping, construction, and other industries. Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on small engines and equipment Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, and tune-ups Inspect equipment to identify any potential issues or malfunctions Order and replace faulty parts as needed Test equipment to ensure proper functionality and performance Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts inventory Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines Requirements High school diploma or equivalent Previous experience as a Small Engine Mechanic or Equipment Technician Strong knowledge of small engine systems and equipment mechanics Experience with diagnostic tools and equipment Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Good communication and customer service abilities Knowledge of safety regulations and practices
