The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fabrication, electrical systems, and mechanical diagnostics, with an emphasis on problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in various pump technologies.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Fabrication: Perform fabrication tasks using various materials and techniques to support manufacturing processes.
  • Electrical Controls: Design, develop, and troubleshoot electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Manufacturing Support: Collaborate with the manufacturing team to ensure smooth operations and efficiency in production lines.
  • Remote Diagnostics: Utilize remote diagnostic tools to identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues in equipment.
  • CAD/P&ID: Create and modify CAD drawings and Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID) for systems and components.
  • Problem Solving: Analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions to minimize downtime and enhance system performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control system issues in real time.
  • Pump Repair: Conduct repairs and maintenance on centrifugal and positive displacement pumps, including high-pressure pumps.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of work performed, including diagnostics, repairs, and modifications.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in fabrication, electrical controls, and manufacturing environments.
  • Proficient in remote electrical and mechanical diagnostics.
  • Strong understanding of CAD software and P&ID creation/modification.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot effectively under pressure.
  • Experience with pump repair, specifically with centrifugal and positive displacement pumps.
  • Knowledge of high-pressure pump systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
**Preferred Qualifications**
  • Familiarity with industry safety standards and best practices.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
Must be able to work in a non-climate-controlled shop.
