What the Role Delivers

Fabricate, assemble, install application and support equipment used in company's chemical application services. Assists with preventive and corrective maintenance of application equipment to ensure long-term economic operation to support our customers.

Key Responsibilities

* form, fabricate, assemble, install, and troubleshoot application equipment

* adherence to all safety policies i.e.. elevated work, PPE, etc.

* work may include pipefitting, welding, grinding, electrical and plumbing systems

* facilitate equipment and productivity improvements

* always keep shop in an orderly and safe manner

* proper storage of mechanical stores and parts

* forklift operation including maintaining forklift operation certificate

* support application services during harvest season

* other duties as assigned

What the Job Requires

* High school graduate or GED

* minimum of 3 years fabrication and welding experience

* good spoken and written English; Spanish a plus

* basic arithmetic skills required

* able to work on multiple projects simultaneously

* able to move freely in a production and maintenance shop environment

* able to perform welding, pipe fitting, minor electrical, carpentry and millwright work

* able to climb stairs and ladders and lift 50 pounds.

* DMV and driver extract required (3 years)

* must be able to obtain commercial pesticide applicators license within 90 days of employment
