Mechanical Assembler - 1st Shift jnfKey Responsibilities:- Fabricate and install seats, trim, and other components.- Work on train car underframes, coupler and brake assembly/disassembly.- Measure product dimensions using rulers.- Follow Standard Work Instructions.- Participate in problem-solving and continuous improvement.- Perform quality inspections and complete production paperwork.- Interpret maintenance and operational manuals.- Perform inbound inspections and various installation tasks.Requirements:- High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.- Knowledge of HAZCOM, equipment specifications, and safety procedures.- Experience in a production environment.- Understanding of measurements and basic math.
