Our highly engineered products serve as the backbone of modern-day commercial and military communications systems, support and protect soldiers, sailors, and pilots, empower scientific discoveries and space exploration, help ensure the safety of imported foods and materials, and much more.We are looking for energetic, agile, highly motivated, and customer focused individuals to join our team and help us to continue to be a market leader, shaping the future in communications and power.YOUR DAY TO DAY: Perform Mechanical Assembly work from instructions and engineering drawings to fabricate assemblies using hand and power tools as well as processing equipment such as high temperature furnaces, chemicals, and solvents working in a fast paced environment.YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:
  • Fabricating assembles using tools as well as processing equipment.
  • Taking direction from a supervisor and/or area lead in meeting department goals and business unit metrics.
  • Working safely and effectively independently.
  • Meeting applicable workmanship standards.
  • Meeting company and customer procedures and specifications.
YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing assembly environment.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office 365: Word, Excel, Outlook.
  • Technical school degree or certificate preferred.
  • Experience in an Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Ability to work from written and verbal instructions as well as engineering drawings.
  • Experience using hand and power tools.
  • Experience and/or comfort working with processing equipment such as high temperature furnace, chemicals, and solvents.
  • This position requires potential access to technology controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a U.S. Person as defined under ITAR and EAR. In order to be a U.S. Person for ITAR and EAR purposes, you must (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; or (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii)a protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
