Our client is looking for Mechanical Assemblers in their Lutz, Florida (Tampa) location.In this role, you will work from assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, product manuals, work sheets, work orders and verbal instructions. As an assembler you perform a variety of operations associated with assembly, testing, packaging, and shipping various products.You will be an essential piece of the quality process.The candidate will:- Assemble materials using support tools such as production orders and blueprints- Enter data into the MRP (for example, SAP) system and ensure that inventory is accurately stated- Understand and strictly adhere to all hazardous material shipping guidelines- Maintain accurate records relating to production orders, data collection, and Total Preventative Maintenance (TPM) sheets- Maintain all assembly equipment used in the department- Accurately maintain stock control, pull items for orders, work in other departments, and complete other related duties as required to fulfill customer orders- Assist in identifying improvement opportunities- Wear personal protective equipment- Actively participate in facility 5S and Lean initiativesThey are looking for candidates with mechanical backgrounds. Monday through Friday day shift.$20/hour plus overtime and full benefits.
