Job DescriptionMonroe Staffing, a division of Staffing 360 Solutions, is currently hiring a Mechanical Assembler for a prominent communications company in Knightdale, NC. Mechanical Assembler 1 is responsible for completing all assigned work according to specifications in a high-quality and safe manner. Mechanical Assembler 1 should be able to read assembly documentation and provide high-quality of work with guidance. Mechanical Assembler 1 is capable of assembling hardware stacks, and mechanical assemblies, and has a desire to produce a quality product. The Mechanical Assembler 1 is required to follow the instructions of the supervisor and suggest improvements. Location: Knightdale, NCShift: 1st & 2nd Shift 6:15 am - 3:00 pm 3:00 pm - 11:45 pmPayrate: $19.00-$23.00/hr. Responsibilities of a Mechanical Assembler:
- Must follow CLIENT safety guidelines and requirements
- Operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties, including lifting,
- climbing, etc.
- Listens and follows directions from supervisors and management
- Must exhibit quality workmanship that adheres to engineering and customer specifications
- Adheres to CLIENT Quality Management System and ISO9001 standards
- Works in a timely, efficient manner to meet all daily performance objectives
- Must be able to work in a team environment which requires cooperating with others, offering help when needed, and maintaining positive work relationships
- Complete Time Reporting Sheets
- Ability to work up to 10 hours per day and weekends as required
- Must have reliable transportation
- Background checks and drug-screen are required
Requirements of a Mechanical Assembler:
- Inspect jobs upon completion and ensure areas are clean.
- Must be able to read and understand posted bulletins, regulations, rule books, manufacturer manuals, and work instructions
- Report inventories use as required
- Able to lift 50 pounds consistently
- Should have the ability to read assembly documentation and provide high-quality of work with guidance
- Can properly assemble hardware stacks, and mechanical assemblies and have an eye for detail
- Defers to lead for any discrepancies before taking action to remedy problems
- Desire to produce quality products to be used in larger assemblies
- Able to use basic hand tools/power tools such as drills, saws, nut drivers, screwdrivers, and torque.
- Can properly assemble hardware stacks, and mechanical assemblies with great attention to detail
- Ability to work on ladders, and lifts and stand or sit for long periods
- Ability to pass the CLIENT training program
- Ability to work closely with small teams
- Ability to safely and efficiently build, lift, and move sub-assemblies and both switchboard electrical and mechanical components
