This position will play a key role in overall success of our organization by designing and overseeing current projects, product development and collaboration with sales and production teams. Be responsible for assisting in various engineering projects, mechanical drafting, CNC programing / nesting, processes, budgets and timelines in order to ensure successful completion. Serve as one of the engineering design and technical experts to engineering, sales and production teams as well as internal and external customers.Work directly with the Engineering Manager and Engineering Draft Team to answer questions and resolve issues brought forth by the engineering team members and other staff including Sales and Operations.Check and confirm accuracy of the work performed by the engineering draft team.Develop part drawings from structural drawings, prepare part drawing for nesting, and using nesting software prepare and review part nest before sending to post -processor. Then review and post nest to be fabricatedAssist in various research and development initiatives to identify opportunities for new projects and improved processes.Communicate and collaborate with engineering team and production to ensure process flow of current projects are on time.Assist fabrication in quick resolution to priorities and issues.Willingness to learn and perform other task as requiredYour Skills and Expertise:To ensure your success from day one in this role, Justrite requires the following qualifications at a minimum:
- Associate's degree
- Certification in Solid Works, and/or other 3D modeling software
- Certification in AutoCad.
- AutoCAD drafting experience with the ability to pull out features and develop and manipulate parts. Review newly created parts to prepare for the nesting operation.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Engineering Degree or working toward is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint
- Good Verbal and Written communication skills
- Quick learner with drive to learn new things.
