Mechanical Drafter - PTS Advance : Job Details

Location: Houston, TX (Downtown)

Duration: Contract - On going

Mechanical Drafter

The Mechanical Drafter position will assist the Drafting Group with As-Built projects and other duties as assigned.

Duties and Responsibilities to include the following:

· Managing multiple redline request.

· Managing drawings within our document management system,

· Completing as-built projects.

· Complete field request and assist pulling drawings for projects.

· Managing multiple 3D model sets.

· Complete other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements and Skills:

· A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in plant / process piping is required.

· Knowledge of P&ID symbols and terminology is required.

· Associates Degree or related experience.

· Knowledge of a Document Management System a plus.

· Knowledge and experience using Windows operating systems.

· Experience with CADWorx Plant Professional modeling software is a must.

· Experience managing and building 3D model sets is a must.

· Must have good communication skills, written & verbal, work with minimal supervision, and

simultaneously manage multiple projects to meet scheduled deadlines.

· Previous experience in the natural gas transmission industry is preferred.
