Cenergistic pairs cutting-edge proprietary energy management software together with their behavior-based energy conservation process to deliver healthier buildings and drive energy conservation across all client sites.Job Description:The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for development and implementation of the company's energy conservation best practices, technical troubleshooting, and overall client performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC engineering.Responsibilities:
  • Development of implementation energy conservation standards and protocols that meet code and industry standards for commercial buildings.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations and standards.
  • Ensure that our implementation process is safe and exceeds all industry standards for employee safety.
  • Provide technical troubleshooting and maintenance support using historical data.
  • Implement actions in conjunction with the field engineering team, measurement / verification team and client managers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies.
  • Provide engineering support for energy conservation measures, implementation issues, and client capital plans.
  • Provide regular reports to management on project status and performance.
  • Anticipated travel 5%-8%.
Qualifications:
  • Experienced mechanical engineer that brings design and operational experience.
  • Experienced in Return on Investment calculations.
  • Experienced in the optimization of mechanical systems using control and energy management optimization strategies.
  • Experienced in business plan development, implementation, and management of teams.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence internally & externally.
  • Experience with commercial HVAC systems, chillers and boilers preferred.
  • B.S in Engineering from accredited 4-year institute.
  • 2-3 years of experience in energy conservation, energy accounting or related engineering field.
