Akkodis is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a contract role with a client located in Everett WA 98206 (Onsite) area. Ideally lookingh for a candidate having experience in mechanical engineering with knowledge of Solidworks/ Creo.
Pay Range: $60-$70/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

As a part of our team, you'll work on designing and manufacturing top-tier products, including biomedical testing and simulation tools, radiation exposure measurement solutions, and related software and services. Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop mechanical systems and components according to project specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure mechanical, electrical, and software components integrate seamlessly.
Apply the principles of mechanics, electronics, and computing to create more efficient and innovative systems.
Work alongside engineers and other professionals in the development of designs and prototypes for new products and systems.
Conduct analysis and testing to verify the reliability and performance of mechanical designs.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for mechanical systems.
Qualifications:
Required:
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related STEM field with 5+ years' experience in electronic device development.
Proficiency in Creo/SolidWorks CAD software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experience with tolerance stack-up analyses.
Experience executing and documenting Design Verification testing for electronic devices.
Experience executing Reliability Verification testing for electro-mechanical medical devices.
Preferred:
Master's degree in mechanical engineering.
Experience with FEA and CFD tools.
Familiarity with ECAD tools like Allegro, Cadence, etc.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials..
