Job Details
  • 1-3 years of mech design experience.
  • Sizing HVAC systems using Carrier HAP or similar.
  • Conduct site observations and compile site observation reports to document construction progress.
  • Conduct HVAC system assessments and provide recommendations for code compliance, capital improvements and/or repairs in response to requests for proposals (RFP).
  • Provide mechanical systems trouble shooting to develop a scope of work for design services.
  • Size supply/return/outside air ductwork and specify diffusers.
  • Create schedules from equipment cutsheets.
  • Perform air balance and fresh air calculations.
  • Coordinate equipment selections with manufacturers.
  • Able to respond to RFIs and review equipment submittals during the construction phase.
  • Use analytical skills and resourcefulness to overcome design obstacles.
  • Proficient in Auto CAD, REVIT, Trane Trace, MS Office, MS Excel
