Currently, they are seeking a skilled Mechanical Project Manager to join their team and oversee mechanical systems installations for their diverse portfolio of projects.Job Description

• Oversee all aspects of mechanical systems work, including HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection, from pre-construction to final commissioning.
• Collaborate with design teams to review mechanical plans and ensure feasibility and compliance with project objectives.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely and high-quality execution of work.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets related to mechanical systems.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, address technical challenges, and ensure safety compliance.
• Coordinate with other project managers and stakeholders to integrate mechanical systems into the overall construction process.
• Ensure adherence to NYC building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not required
• At least 5 years of experience managing mechanical systems for residential or affordable housing construction projects.
• Deep knowledge of mechanical systems design, installation, and commissioning.
• Strong project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, and team coordination.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software.
• Familiarity with NYC building codes, safety standards, and local construction regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
