Enviva Biomass is seeking a Mechanical Technician to join a fast-paced production environment in Epes, AL. This is a full-time permanent position with excellent pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

• Performs preventative, predictive and proactive maintenance procedures, troubleshooting, and servicing of mobile equipment to improve equipment reliability consistent with Envivas OEMS (Operational Excellence Management System).
• Provides regular maintenance of hydraulics, lubrication, of mechanical equipment; demonstrates understanding of types of lubricants and application.
• Read and follow technical diagrams and schematics.
• Adhere to all plant environmental, health and safety guidelines, policies and practice.
• Provide technical support for efficient troubleshooting and or problem-solving activities to maximize efficiencies and limit downtime.
• Work with the operations group to increase reliability while improving plant performance.
• Must be able to work safely obeying OSHA and Enviva safety standards.

Qualifications:

Our plants operate 24x7. Must be willing and able to work twelve (12) hour shifts, to include nights, weekends, holidays and overtime.
