Mechanical Test Engineer - Compunnel : Job Details

Duration: 12 Months (with a great possibility of extension)

Client: One of the largest Diesel Engines manufacturers in the US

Overview:

The candidate will be managing data quality, running test, and analyzing data. These candidates will need to be hands on and interface with test requestors. Someone with a coding background is a bonus.

Duties:

• Research, design, develop, manufacture, and test tools, engines, machines and other mechanical devices.
• Research and analyze customer design proposals, specifications, manuals to determine time and cost feasibility to complete projects.
• Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and make recommendation to maintenance crew.
• Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using tools, equipment or software .

Qualifications:

• Mechanical Engineering degree is required.
• The manager would like 2-4 years' experience doing the same.
• Previous experience in Validation Testing, Verification Testing, Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA), 7-Step Problem Solving, MATLAB, and Process Capability.
