Never have the opportunities for a technical career been so limitless.We are Lockheed MartinSeeking an experienced design engineer within the Utility Systems team, part of Air Mobility & Maritime Missions (AMMM) Vehicle Systems.As an engineer in this role, you will primarily assist in the design, development, production, testing, troubleshooting, and field support of one or more of a variety of Mechanical and Utility systems and components to include Flight Controls, Fire Protection, Aircraft Equipment, and miscellaneous actuators, valves, and other LRUs. Duties may include drawing release, data review, production and flight line troubleshooting, and investigation of customer questions and problems.Additional responsibilities may include:* Supporting quote kickoffs* Providing Mechanical System inputs for new business proposals* Performing supplier coordination and technical oversight, including preparation of specifications and statements of work and leading supplier qualification effortsMust be a US Citizen. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
