TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Chattanooga, Tennessee, 37404 Pay Information $1,829 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Medical-Surgical Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 19:00-07:00 Guaranteed Hours: Not specified Experience: Minimum of 2 years License: RN license Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have: - Teamwork - Compassion - Collaboration and communication skills - Medical-Surgical experience Job Description: - Work in a 30-bed unit handling various cases including respiratory diseases, renal, and gastrointestinal illnesses. - Maintain patient ratios of 1:6. - Collaborate with clinical coordinators, unit secretaries, personal care technicians (PCTs), and case management team. - Utilize equipment such as walkers, IV pumps, and sequential compression devices (SCDs). - Document patient information using the Meditech system. - Meet scheduling requirements with four weekend shifts per 28-day schedule and participate in holiday rotation. - Participate in staff rotation as per policy. - Meet patient experience requirements by utilizing communication boards effectively. - Wear navy blue scrubs as a required uniform. - Be aware of and comply with unit-specific policies and general hospital guidelines. - Experience new equipment and technology, benefit from the tenure and experience of current staff, and explore flexible schedule options.
