DescriptionCome join the team with WeCare at Burgh Care Center!WeCare at Burgh Care Center is actively seeking a motivated Medication Tech for our community in Pittsburgh, PA.#SPONSOR123Key Responsibilities • Passes medications and gives treatments according to physicians orders and in accordance with facility policy• Provides heedful care tasks, personal hygiene .services, housekeeping tasks and other related support services essential to the resident's health• Follows schedule in accordance to Pennsylvania Department of Human Services (DHS) standards• Alerts Administrator of any change in resident's physical or mental health status• Reports and documents all resident incidents and emergency medical calls to administrative staff• Ensures that residents receive meals during scheduled times• Does not leave floor unattended without notifying a fellow employee• Gives shift report on status of residents• Documents in the resident records• Responsible for notifying PC Manager or Charge Nurse of medications needing to be refilled• Assures personal and staff compliance to residents' rights• Provides a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors, and other staff members• Monitors personal and staff compliance to all State and federal requirements including but not limited to blood borne pathogens, hazardous materials, infection control, and: fire safetySkills, Knowledge and Expertise· High School Diploma or equivalent· 1 Year long term care experience· 1 year med tech experienceBenefitsWe reward hard working and caring professionals with competitive pay, benefits, and growth opportunities!About WeCare CentersAt WeCare Centers, we believe in not only providing exceptional care for our residents but also ensuring a supportive and enriching environment for our team.
