Responsibilities:
- The Account Director role is responsible for managing multi-media projects for clients with a goal of meeting and exceeding client expectations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Collaborate with digital and traditional teams to develop strategic and innovative plans, execute in a timely and detail-oriented fashion, and optimize throughout to meet client objectives and drive results
- Oversee all stages of the campaign lifecycle from planning to billing/reconciliation, ensuring timeliness and accuracy
- Develop expertise in region pertaining to campaign/accounts and reaching audiences of interest. Develop and maintain research that will inform media strategy
- Develop, maintain and present client-facing deliverables include flowcharts, digital media plans, strategy decks, recaps, etc.
- Create, maintain and present routine client facing report in OpAD's proprietary reporting dashboard, customized per campaign to best visualize data and successes
- Anticipate potential roadblocks and develop contingency plans to keep projects on track
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and ensure projects are on track
- Read industry trades and stay updated on omni-channel marketing trends
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years media planning, buying, and client services experience
- Proven experience as digital-first Account Manager/Director with a portfolio of work that demonstrates ability to manage complex digital projects for clients
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), allowing for cross-functional team collaboration
- Strong problem solving and data-driven decision making skills
- Ability to identify problems/roadblocks and develop effective solutions
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards for project quality, including accuracy, consistency, relevance, and accessibility.
- Effective analytical skills with the ability to see granular and big picture issues.
- Tools and platform expertise:
- Research (GfK MRI-Simmons, comScore, Nielson, Social Explorer)
- Google Analytics
- Reporting Dashboard
- Excel, PPT, Word, etc.
- Familiarity of ad verification partners (IAS, Double Verify)
- Familiarity of media buying platforms (i.e. Meta Business Manager, Google Ads, Campaign Manager)
- Familiarity with DSP landscape and players in the space (The Trade Desk, Amazon, etc.)
