Salary: $25.67 - $26.97 HourlyLocation : Ardmore, OKJob Type: Full-TimeJob Number: 00469Department: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGYDivision: INFORMATION TECHNOLOGYOpening Date: 12/09/2024Closing Date: 1/5/2025 11:59 PM CentralDescription Responsible for ensuring security and efficiency of IT infrastructure: handle installing, configuring, monitoring, and managing the City's software, hardware, and end-user systems. Troubleshooting and addressing performance issues as needed to ensure the highest level of system performance and availability. Building and executing social media strategies, generating, and publishing daily content, optimizing City pages on various platforms, moderating user-generated content, analyzing social data, and collaborating with other departments to manage reputation and coordinate actions. They possess expertise in social media marketing, strong consulting and communication skills, and knowledge of web design and online marketing. Duties
  • Install and configure software and hardware, upgrade systems with new releases and models.
  • Support, configure, maintain, and upgrade end-user devices and applications.
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain all installed systems and technology tools.
  • Proactively troubleshoot any issues or outages to ensure the highest level of systems and availability.
  • Monitor and test applications for potential issues, identify solutions and work with developers to implement fixes.
  • Maintain security through monitoring Next Gen Anti-Virus systems, controls, backups and redundancy strategies.
  • Set-up user accounts, workstations, permissions, and passwords.
  • Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel to resolve issues.
  • Assist in Building and maintaining an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
  • Build, optimize and execute social media strategy through competitive research, platform determination, benchmarking, messaging and audience identification to increase city visibility.
  • Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content (original text, images, video or HTML) that builds meaningful connections and encourages community members to take action.
  • Create editorial calendars and syndication schedules.
  • Moderate all user-generated content in line with the moderation policy for each department.
  • Continuously improve by capturing and analyzing the appropriate social data/metrics, insights, and best practices, and then acting on the information.
  • Ability to use social media for impressions and brand awareness.
  • Excellent knowledge of social media platforms including Google, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, X and Facebook, etc.
  • Understanding of social media KPIs, web traffic metrics and SEO
  • Understanding of publishing and web design
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education and Required Experience:
  • BS in Computer Science, Media Science or Communications is preferred.
  • 3 to 5 years related experience and/or training in System Management.
  • CompTIA A+or comparable system certification Required within 1 Year of Employment.
  • Experience in network and patch management.
  • Experience with helpdesk, troubleshooting, and resolution.
  • Proven working experience in social media marketing or as a Digital Media Specialist
  • Excellent consulting, writing, editing (photo/video/text), presentation and communication skills.
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
  • Adequate knowledge of web design, web development, CRO and SEO.
  • Knowledge of online marketing and good understanding of major marketing channels.
  • Positive attitude, detail, and customer oriented with good multitasking and organizational ability.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
  • Familiar with various operating systems/platforms and backup/recovery software
  • Ability to set-up and configure PCs Laptops, tablets, Smart phones other hardware.
  • Knowledge in Application Troubleshooting
  • Demonstrable social networking experience and social analytics tools knowledge.
