Media Strategy Advisor (Contract) - MBO Partners : Job Details

Contract Duration: 12 months (starting January 2025)

Location: Hybrid Downtown Washington DC (ability to work onsite Tues-Thurs)

Description: Are you a strategic thinker with a background in media and content publishing? Our client's Media Strategy team is seeking a dynamic Media Strategy Advisor to join us for a 12-month contract. This hybrid role, based in Washington, DC, is your chance to make an impact by driving the growth of our Media & Content Publishing business across digital, social, print, and community channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with AARP's Media Strategy team to develop and execute strategies aimed at expanding our media and content publishing footprint.
• Conduct comprehensive market research to analyze trends, identify new business opportunities, and evaluate competitive dynamics.
• Create business cases and strategic proposals to support media growth initiatives, presenting recommendations to senior leadership.
• Lead and support projects that drive strategy execution, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and successful implementation.
• Engage cross-functional teams to move projects forward and achieve impactful outcomes.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in the media and content publishing industry, with strengths in business analysis, strategic planning, research, and innovation.
• Expertise in market research and competitive analysis, with the ability to identify emerging trends and business opportunities.
• Demonstrated ability to create compelling business cases and strategic proposals.
• Strong project management skills, with a track record of executing strategic initiatives.
