CooperSurgical's Medical Affairs department is seeking an intern to support the Medical Affairs team, with a primary focus on assisting with the creation and execution of research projects, data aggregation, and manuscript writing across key areas of the business.
Under guidance of the Medical Affairs team, create and modify multimedia scientific materials for conference submissions; perform other duties as assigned to support medical affairs.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
* Advanced PowerPoint skills are a must. Intermediate skill in the use of Excel and Word, advanced preferred.
* Well organized with attention to detail and ability to carry out tasks independently.
* Audio/video editing skills are necessary. Canva skills preferred.
* Interest in medical education and industry activities, a must.
* Excellent project management, organizational and follow-through skill set.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills (including meticulous proofreading).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Professional demeanor.
* Team-oriented, creative, inquisitive, driven and extremely reliable.
Experience
* Not required, but prior internship experience is a plus.
Education
* 4-year degree or professional degree in process in nursing, pre-medical, pharmacy, bio/life sciences or science/medical communications, or related field.
* Preference given to those enrolled in a PharmD, Physician Assistant, Medical Degree (MD/DO) or Nursing degree (APRN, CNM, DNP, PhD).
