Location: Watertown, WIPosition Type: Flexible, Full-Time (32 hours per week / .8 FTE)Schedule: Monday through FridaySign-On Bonus: $3,500Position Overview:Kaeppel Consulting is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)registered with the State of Wisconsin for one of our clients' in Watertown, WI. This is a flexible position requiring travel between the clinics as needed, providing vital support to the healthcare providers and ensuring an exceptional patient experience.Key Responsibilities:
  • Patient Care:
    • Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments.
    • Perform basic patient assessments, record vital signs, and update patient medical records.
    • Prepare patients for examinations and ensure their comfort during clinic visits.
  • Administrative Duties:
    • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient follow-ups.
    • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
  • Clinical Tasks:
    • Administer medications, vaccines, and injections as directed by providers.
    • Collect and process lab specimens.
    • Conduct EKGs, wound care, and other diagnostic or therapeutic procedures as required.
  • Clinic Operations:
    • Manage and stock medical supplies and equipment in exam rooms.
    • Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and OSHA standards.
    • Travel between clinic locations as assigned to provide coverage and support.
Qualifications:
  • Education and Certification:
    • Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
    • Must be registered with the State of Wisconsin.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare clinic setting is required.
  • Skills:
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.
    • Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Must have reliable transportation to travel between clinic locations.
