Position Overview:Kaeppel Consulting is seeking a
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or a
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)registered with the
State of Wisconsin for one of our clients' in Watertown, WI. This is a flexible position requiring travel between the clinics as needed, providing vital support to the healthcare providers and ensuring an exceptional patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Patient Care:
- Assist providers with exams, procedures, and treatments.
- Perform basic patient assessments, record vital signs, and update patient medical records.
- Prepare patients for examinations and ensure their comfort during clinic visits.
- Administrative Duties:
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient follow-ups.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in the electronic medical records (EMR) system.
- Clinical Tasks:
- Administer medications, vaccines, and injections as directed by providers.
- Collect and process lab specimens.
- Conduct EKGs, wound care, and other diagnostic or therapeutic procedures as required.
- Clinic Operations:
- Manage and stock medical supplies and equipment in exam rooms.
- Ensure compliance with clinic policies, procedures, and OSHA standards.
- Travel between clinic locations as assigned to provide coverage and support.
Qualifications:- Education and Certification:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Must be registered with the State of Wisconsin.
- Experience:
- Minimum of one year of experience in a healthcare clinic setting is required.
- Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.
- Proficient in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Other Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation to travel between clinic locations.
