Women's Health Associates of NWA is seeking full-time medical assistants for our busy Bentonville location. Our office is growing and looking for a professional and motivated individual to join our team. We're looking for someone in alignment with our values that can support our growing team.The medical assistant's responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:Greet and prepare patients for physician while maintaining a positive and caring attitudeObtain and record patient information, vital signs, height, weight, allergies, current medications, medical history, chief complaint, etc.Document patient plan(s) of care, test, and exam results in electronic medical record (EMR) as directed by physicianDraw and collect blood samples and prepare specimens for laboratory analysisPrepare, clean, and sterilize instruments and maintain equipment; stock patient exam rooms while maintaining cleanliness and organization, and dispose of contaminated items per protocolProvide ordered medications and/or vaccines via oral, injection, and/or topical administrationPerform basic clerical duties including answering the phone, maintaining records, and filingPerform basic materials management functions to include ordering and stocking of suppliesOther duties and/or responsibilities as assigned by the physician and Practice Administrator.REQUIREMENT: Medical Assistant experience in a clinic setting
