Medical Assistant - PRIDE Health : Job Details

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility based in Brooklyn Center, Minnesota. This is a permanent opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate customer flow within the clinic to ensure efficient and seamless care delivery, addressing the diverse needs of infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients.
• Support healthcare providers in managing and treating patients by performing delegated tasks within the Blaze Health Medical Assistant scope of practice, as defined by Minnesota Board regulations.
• Provide individualized care for patients across various age groups and backgrounds, ensuring a compassionate and professional approach to meet unique healthcare needs.
• Collaborate with Clinic Supervisors, Clinic Managers, and Providers to achieve departmental and organizational goals while maintaining a high standard of patient care.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding patient progress, concerns, or issues, ensuring timely resolution and quality care.
• Perform clinical and administrative duties, including assisting in procedures, updating patient records, and supporting providers in delivering efficient and focused care

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Over 1 year of medical assistant experience

Additional Information:

• Location: Brooklyn Center, Minnesota
• Job Type: Permanent
• Schedule: Monday to Friday – 08:00 am to 05:00 pm
• Pay Range: $ 20.00 to 26.00/hour.
• *Position open to LPNs - $23.75 to 33.00/ hour

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
