Medical Assistant - PRIDE Health : Job Details

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's medical facility based in Maple Grove, MN. This permanent opportunity is a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Responsibilities:

• Perform clinical and clerical tasks to manage customer flow, including rooming patients, administering medications and immunizations, conducting laboratory specimen collection, and supporting telephone and prescription refill needs.
• Provide front desk/check-in support, assist with ordering and stocking supplies, and help with prior authorizations as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Work closely with the healthcare team to manage customer care, relay concerns or progress, and maintain effective communication with providers and team members.
• Demonstrate proficiency in required medical assistant skills, maintain skill levels, and complete necessary competency evaluations to meet organizational goals and comply with regulatory standards.

Requirements:

• High School graduate or GED
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
• On-the-job experience or clinical training
• Participation in a registration program and passing the credentialing exam
• Current Medical Assistant certification
• Previous experience in a clinical setting
• Passed x-ray operator's examination or willing to take the exam
• Current BLS Certification

• Location: Maple Grove, MN - 55369
• Job Type: Permanent
• Schedule: Monday – Friday / 8 AM to 5 PM
• Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.00 / hour

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
