Medical Assistant - PRIDE Health : Job Details

Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's facility in North Richland Hills, TX. This is a 26-week contract (Possibility of extension or conversion) opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant to join a clinical team in North Richland Hills, TX. This is a contract position with a focus on primary care. The ideal candidate will assist physicians and other healthcare providers with patient care, procedures, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

· Perform clinical duties following all healthcare standards (clinical, OSHA, and infection control).

· Assist in patient examinations, taking vital signs, and documenting health histories.

· Administer medications and observe patient responses to treatments.

· Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and lab specimen logging.

· Coordinate outpatient tests, referrals, and hospital pre-admissions when necessary.

· Ensure exam rooms, labs, and patient care areas are cleaned and properly stocked.

· Manage patient communication via phone, email, and patient charts.

· Participate in meetings, professional development, and adhere to infection-control policies.

Qualifications:

· Medical Assistant Certification (Required)

· BLS Certification required.

· High School diploma or equivalent (GED).

· Location: North Richland Hills, TX

· Job Type: 26-week contract

· Shifts: 5x8, Mon-Fri, B/w 07AM-06PM

· Pay Range: $700-$800 Weekly

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
