- Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient examinations and treatments.
- Record patient history, vital signs, and medical information accurately.
- Prepare exam rooms and ensure medical supplies are stocked.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers.
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for analysis.
- Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans and preventive healthcare.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is a plus.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and basic clinical procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
