Student Loan Repayment: This Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position may be eligible for -Avera's -Student Loan Repayment Program, which helps you pay off your loans and save money. Each month an extra payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from -Avera -will help pay down your principal balance faster. Job Summary Performs selected medical assistant and clerical duties that assist in care for clinic patients following established standards, practices, and competency. - Works collaboratively with other clinic staff to solve practice-related problems. - Demonstrates knowledge of the principles of growth and development and possesses the ability to respond to specific issues and data reflective of the patient/customer's status. - Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the population served in the department. Education and/or Experience Graduate from a Medical Assistant program with an Associate's degree or diploma preferred. Six months to one year related experience and/or training preferred. Certification, Licensure, Registration National Certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAAMA); or National Registration as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) through the American Medical Technologist (AMT); or National Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health Career Association and Medical Assistant diploma or National Certification as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Health Career Association with one year of experience. Work Schedule Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience. - $19.25 - $27.00 per hour -
