Medical Biller - Medix : Job Details

Join our team as a Billing Specialist, where you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our claims process. This position is 100% onsite for the first year, with hybrid eligibility after one year of employment.Key Responsibilities:

• Manage claim edits, reflections, and Epic work queues with precision and attention to detail.
• Process claims through payor portals, overseeing the entire lifecycle from submission to rejection and resolution.
• Meet key performance indicators (KPIs) by completing 165 claim-related activities daily.
• Collaborate with internal teams to address and resolve billing concerns; minimal patient contact required.
• Occasionally coordinate benefits or verify active coverage directly with patients if necessary.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with EMR systems, particularly EPIC.
• Familiarity with claim submission processes and payor portal navigation.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to detail and accuracy in managing complex billing workflows.

Schedule/Shift: 8:00AM-4:00PM / 8:30AM-4:30PMPay Range: $20-$24 per hourMedix is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
