Our team of dedicated professionals works together to ensure that each patient receives the best possible care in a supportive and compassionate environment.Salary: $17.26 per hour, with the potential to increase up to $21.57 based on experience, plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus.Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled Medical Care Specialist to join our team. As a Medical Care Specialist, you will provide daily nursing care and services to our patients, working in accordance with their individual assessments and plans of care. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team.Key Responsibilities: Assist or complete activities of daily living for assigned patients, including bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, transporting, lifting, eating, range of motion exercises, grooming, bed making, AM and HS care, provision of privacy, restorative nursing measures, and insuring a safe environment.Safely use equipment such as lifts, scales, restraints, side rails, splints, positioning devices, arm protectors, specialized mattresses, and adaptive equipment.Obtain and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respiration, and weight.Maintain dignity, individuality, confidentiality, and resident's rights.Explain to residents what care you are going to provide prior to providing it.Care for residents with communicable diseases who require isolation or special precautions, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment and following infection control procedures.Maintain resident's room, bath, and personal belongings in a clean, orderly fashion.Assists with admissions and discharges as directed by the nurse.Reports to the team leader at the beginning of the shift, listens to report of the resident's condition, receives assignment, asks questions, and reviews the resident's care plan.Reports off to team leader when leaving the unit.Adheres to assigned break and meal times.Attends in-services as directed.Reports perceived problems to the supervisor.Is responsible for any duties, within the scope of practice of a CNA, as requested by the team leader, nursing supervisor, ADON, DON.Follows the facilities policies and procedures.Follows Universal Precautions and Infection Control practices.Maintains Corporate Compliance standards.Contributes to facility Quality Assurance Performance Improvement initiatives.Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will need: A High School diploma or betterA valid CNA licenseWhy Work with Us?We offer a range of benefits to support your physical and emotional well-being, including 401(k), dental insurance, flexible scheduling, health insurance, paid time off, and vision insurance.
