HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is seeking Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team, located along the beautiful Treasure Coast of Florida.

Qualified Candidates:

• Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Emergency Medicine (PEM)
• Must have Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Must have completed an PEM Residency and board certified within 5 years.

Incentives/Benefits:

• IC-1099 contractor status (malpractice with tail covered)

• No floor code or consult responsibilities

Facility Information:

• Level II Trauma Center
• 80,000 annual patient visits in Main ED and 16,000 in Peds ED
• 3 trauma bays, including 1 pediatric
• 2.0 pph
• 70 hours total of physician coverage (main ED and Peds ED incl)
• 60 hours of APP coverage
• EMR is Meditech, Pdoc and dragon dictation
• Code ice facility with theraputic hypothermia capability
• Several dedicated ED glide scopes and US machines
• 24 hour inhouse Hospitalist and Intensivists
