Job Title: Medical Laboratory Scientist

Location: Portland OR

Duration: 6 months (CONTRACT TO HIRE)

Shift: M-F 3pm-11:30pm and an overnight Med Tech I, hours Th-Su 10pm-8am

Eligibility:

U.S. Citizens, Green Card holders, or individuals with an Employment Authorization Document (EAD) are eligible to apply for this position

• GENERALIST WITH BLOOD BANK EXPERIENCE

Job details:

• 1 – Is this for and Medical Lab Technician [2 year MLT degree ] or Medical Lab Scientist / Medical Technologist [4 year BS] or are you open to either? OPEN TO BOTH
• 2- Please confirm if ASCP or AMT certification is required. [If required, are you open to eligible /registered candidates?] PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED
• 3- Are you seeking a generalist [proficient in testing in all Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Coagulation] or are you seeking a Micro Lab worker with Molecular background?
• GENERALIST WITH BLOOD BANK EXPERIENCE
• 4- What department will this technical position support? [Micro lab, Core lab, DNA sequence, etc.] JUST BLOOD BANK DEPT
• 5- Is Blood Bank experience required for this role? YES
• 6- Any particular LIS [Lab Information System] experience you would like to see on resumes? [Millennium, Cerner, Epic etc.] SOFT BANK AND EPIC

Education Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in a physical, chemical, biological science or Medical Technology.
• Education Preferred: Can have an AA if they are an MLT.
