AlliedTravelCareers is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Medical Lab Technician in Saranac Lake, New York, 12983!About The Position**Job Title:** Grossing Technologist**Job Specialty:** Clinical Laboratory / Pathology**Job Duration:** Permanent**Shift:** Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts**Guaranteed Hours:** 80 hours per pay period**Experience:** 1+ years of grossing experience required**License:** Current NYS license as Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT), Medical Technologist (MT), or Histotechnologist (HTL)**Certifications:** Bachelor's degree in Science**Must-Have:**- Experience in gross description, dissection, and processing of tissue specimens**Job Description:**- Responsible for the accurate gross description, dissection, and processing of biopsies, as well as routine and moderate complexity tissue specimens according to established protocols.- Work under the direct supervision of the Pathologist and/or Pathology Supervisor.- Participate in limited technical activities within the Pathology department, including accessioning, staining, cover slipping, routine maintenance, and cytology specimen preparation.9475046EXPPLATJob RequirementsRequired for Onboarding
