Job Description

This Position is Contingent on Contract Award.

This position is in support of a proposed repatriation initiative. The purpose of the facilities is to provide comprehensive care for migrant individuals who are awaiting reunification or repatriation. This care will begin as soon as each occupant arrives at the facility and will last until their arranged departure. The comprehensive care includes but is not limited to initial screening and exams, identification of prior conditions and allergies, day-to-day care of routine, urgent, and emergency medical conditions.

The primary function of the Medical Logistics (Warehouse) Specialist is to provide support for the program through materials and logistics movement coordination training, material status tracking, and overall supply support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing the inventory of medical supplies, equipment, and devices including tracking of stock levels, performing routine audits, and restocking items as needed.
  • Responsible for receiving and shipping all incoming and outgoing medical supplies, equipment, and devices to ensure all items are properly labelled and packaged and are delivered.
  • Ensures that all medical supplies, equipment, and devices meet the required quality standards and perform regular inspections and testing of products to ensure safe and effective usage.
  • Maintain accurate records of all inventory transactions, including receiving, shipping, and restocking.
  • Track expiration dates, lot numbers, and other important information related to medical products.
  • Ensure that all medical equipment is properly maintained and serviced including routine inspections and repairs, as well as coordinating with external service providers when necessary.
  • Ensures that all medical products and equipment are in compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Effectively communicates with other departments and medical personnel.
  • Coordinate daily with requestors, cataloguing, purchasing, and supply chain management groups.
  • Manage movement of personnel and equipment.

Qualifications

Experience Required:

  • Ability to multi-task effectively, prioritize and execute against multiple priorities.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong PC/Microsoft Office applications background.
  • Knowledge of databases and spreadsheets.
  • Extensive fundamental knowledge of logistics and supply principles and supply chain management.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent data entry skills.

Education Required:

  • High school degree or equivalent;
  • Associate degree in a related field such as business management or logistics management preferred.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Physical Requirements:

  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment, and outdoors with exposure to environmental heat, humidity, sunshine, rain, and wind.
  • Work involves sitting and standing for prolonged periods of time.
  • May require bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to safely negotiate flights of stairs.

Other Special Qualifications:

  • Must be a US Citizen or possess a permanent resident card.
  • Current MRPT Clearance preferred.

Additional Information

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant's background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.

Compensation| Min: 50/hr Max: 100/hr
