Clinic Overview:
Our clinic offers comprehensive services, including HIV treatment, HIV prevention (Pre- and Post-Exposure Prophylaxis), STI treatment and prevention, as well as a full range of sexual health services, including gender-affirming care. As a Medical Practice Manager, you will be at the forefront of transforming healthcare for those most in need
Job Summary:
We seek a compassionate, experienced and dedicated practice manager with strong leadership skills to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will be committed to public health and possess the ability to work with diverse populations. Responsibilities include program development, fiscal accountability, maintaining quality and regulatory standards, managing staff, and ensuring a high level of patient-centered care and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring efficient workflows and high-quality patient care.
- Recruit, hire, train, and supervise clinic staff.
- Provide leadership and supervision for clinical and support services offered to patients.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare laws and regulations.
- Monitor clinic budgets and expenses, managing procurement of supplies and equipment.
- Analyze and report on clinic performance metrics to senior management.
- Coordinate services across the agency, including behavioral health, case management, prevention and education services.
- Develop protocols and standard operating procedures to enhance care delivery.
Required Qualifications:
- Master's degree in healthcare administration, public health, social work, or other healthcare related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in healthcare administration, preferably in a supervisory role.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience in program management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Expertise in third-party healthcare billing, including coding, insurance reimbursement, and revenue cycle management.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge and prior experience in 340B program management.
- Proficiency in data analytics to identify trends, measure outcomes, and inform decision-making processes.
- Experience with Athenahealth EMR.
