Medical Receptionist100% On-SiteLocations in Baltimore, MD & Frederick, MDJob Description:+ The Medical Receptionist will work in an outpatient family practice clinic setting.+ Will greet patients as they walk in.+ Responsible for patient registration, check in, and insurance verification.+ Schedule new and follow up patient appointments.+ Answer phones and email correspondence as needed.+ File, scan, and fax medical records as needed.+ This is a full-time contract to hire job opportunity with benefits!Schedule: + Candidates must be available to work the following schedule/occasional Saturdays+ Monday & Wednesday 8:00 AM - 6:30 PM+ Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM+ 1-2 Saturdays Per Month (As Needed) 8:00 AM - 12:00 PMAdditional Skills & Qualifications:+ High School Diploma or GED+ At least 1-3+ years in a healthcare administrative role (patient registration, patient access, medical scheduling, etc)+ Must have excellent computer skills and customer service.+ Open to Medical Assistant candidates who are looking to work in the front office.+ Athena EMR experience is preferred!
