- Have a friendly and professional tone on the phone and when interacting with patients.
- Answer the phones and schedule appointments.
- Scan documents into the computer.
- Verify insurances and check for referrals.
- Submit prior authorizations for certain procedures.
- Check patients in and out for their visit while verifying their demographic information.
- Collect co-pays and balances from patients.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable and prompt.
- Computer skills and electronic medical records (EMR) experience required.
- Reliable source of transportation.
- Must like to multi-task and be a team player!
Job Type:
- Full-time: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday-Friday.
- Pay range starting at $21/hr
Experience:
- Minimum 1-year experience working in customer service.
- Medical receptionist experience is a plus!
