Medical Records Clerk - Healthcare Support : Job Details

Medical Records Clerk HealthCare Support is actively seeking a Medical Records Clerk to fill an opening with a healthcare company in Lincoln, NE.Daily Responsibilities for Medical Records Clerk:

• This position is responsible for advanced clerical functions with in the Health Information Management department. The HIM Specialist II will have an understanding of privacy and security issues related to patient information
• Assemble medical records in the approved record order and remove all duplicate or non-legal medical record material
• Analyze medical records for completion and assign deficiencies as needed.
• Fill out birth certificate in accordance with state law including contact with mothers and father within facility specific timeframe.
• Monday to Friday 8am to 4:30pm/Onsite

Required Qualifications for Medical Records Clerk:

• 2+ years' experience with electronic medical records
• High School diploma or equivalent
