Role Description:

This is a full-time role for a Medical Scribe at Apex Heart & Vascular Center in Nutley, NJ. The Medical Scribe will be responsible for assisting healthcare providers with documenting patient encounters, managing medical records, and ensuring accurate and timely documentation.

Qualifications:

• Experience as a Medical Scribe
• Proficiency in Medical Terminology and Human Anatomy
• Knowledge of Medical Assisting procedures
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Proficiency in medical record keeping and documentation
• Knowledge of EHR systems
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
• Certification in Medical Scribing is preferred

Experience working in a cardiology or cardiovascular care setting is a plus. A Bachelor's degree in a related field and certification as a Medical Assistant or completion of a Medical Assisting program would also be beneficial.
