Job Title: Medical Surgical Registered Nurse Job Location: Rome, NY Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days 7 AM to 7 PM Hours: 36 hrs weekly (3*12) Pay Range: $50-$52/hr Job Description: As a Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care within a medical-surgical unit. You will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans, ensuring optimal outcomes. Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and monitor patient vitals
• Perform invasive procedures such as changing dressings, inserting catheters, and starting IVs
• Operate and adjust specialized medical equipment
• Educate patients and their families about surgical procedures and post-surgery care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Adhere to strict nursing standards and protocols

Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Med Surg nursing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
