Responsibilities of the Medical Technologist (MT) (MLS) (CLT)

• Perform lab testing as a Medical Technologist.
• Abide by laboratory protocol and procedures.
• Be comfortable in a high-volume setting.
• Knowledge of laboratory equipment and testing to perform quality control checks and troubleshooting of instrumentation.

Requirements of the Medical Technologist (MT) (MLS) (CLT)

• ASCP or equivalent certification required
• BS Degree in Medical Technology or related science required
• Eligible for New York State licensure as a Clinical Laboratory Technologist
• 1+ years of laboratory experience preferred
