Position DescriptionThis position assists in the overall operation of the Unit Medication Room and distributes client's medications from filled prescriptions.Preferred QualificationsExperience working with health technology systems: electronic health records and medication administration reporting systems.Required QualificationsCorrectional Medication Aide: Graduation from an accredited high school or GED equivalent and Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic (EMT-P) with current credential from the Texas Department of State Health Services OR Successful completion of a certified medication aide training course and passage of State exam.Correctional Medication Aide Trainee: HS diploma or GED
