Medication Certified Technician
Under general Nursing supervision, the Certified Medication Technician works 100% of their time on this position functions and evaluates the medical and emergency needs of residents in Assisted Living, Personal Care, Memory Care, and Residential Living environments and identifies and monitors current health problems of residents. It also provides services to promote and maintain the health and safety of the residents.
Shift:
On-call
6 A.M.- 2 P.M., 1 P.M.- 8 P.M.
Pay: $22.50 to $25
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Vocational/technical training in the nursing field, specifically with the elderly preferred;
- up to 40 hours of training under a licensed professional or other requirement as prescribed by the state regulations governing residential senior living or skilled nursing facilities as required;
- Minimum of 2 years related experience or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required skills, knowledge, and abilities
- CPR certified
- First Aid Certification
- Certified Medication Technician under state rules as applicable to be able to assist or pass medications in a residential senior living community.
