Meeting Planner - Optimal Solutions Group : Job Details

Optimal Solutions Group is seeking a Meeting Planner that will join a dynamic team working together to deliver best-in-class solutions to our current federal sector clients while expanding our portfolio of clients and projects. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated skills in managing similar projects, have exceptionally good management and organizational expertise, and must have strong written and oral communication skills. Responsibilities:•Serve as a project and task leader, working with subject matter experts, project staff, and the client to establish and enact a vision.•Work effectively with subject matter experts to translate their expertise and navigate their availability into the development of high-quality products and services for a range of audiences.•Independently and proactively identify problems, areas for continuous improvement, and to successfully resolve issues or put new processes in place to make those improvements.•Coordinate teams and manage work from vision to final execution.•Oversee the development of technical assistance resources such as papers, reports, manuals, online tutorials, webinars, and resource guides.•Ensure a high quality of work through strong attention to detail.•Be comfortable in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment with a proven ability to multi-task and juggle multiple priorities.Education and Experience:•Bachelor's degree required; master's degree preferred.•Minimum ten years of experience required; 15 years preferred.•Experience in working with Federal Agencies including the U.S. Department of Education is a plus.•Must be proficient in designing and delivering high-quality, high-impact meeting planning and logistics services to a range of stakeholders.•Must be highly proficient in MS Office suite and willing to learn new technologies.•Must have experience in developing proposals, either for federal, state, or foundationTo Apply: Please submit your application, including your resume with a cover letter.
