The individual must reside in Massachusetts, Rhode Island or Connecticut). We have been engaged in a search for a Member Service Manager who will work with member organizations to convey value propositions related to the purchasing of business-related goods and services. In this role, the Member Service Manager will:
- Manage and grow service utilization for existing member organizations.
- Engage in 1:1 contact with members and suppliers with high touch communication to manage/resolve inquiries. Take ownership of critical accounts.
- Administer member service programs and policies to ensure members and suppliers receive the services or benefits to which they are entitled.
- Support the organization in meeting member enrollment and retention goals, including tracking and reporting on member concerns and inquiries
- Develop and execute annual sales plans for member and prospect organizations.
- Based on data and emerging trends, recommend offerings that increase member and supplier satisfaction, utilization, spend and retention that drive the organization's success and profitability
- Utilize software and other internal resources required of the member services team to address and refer to the appropriate service provider(s)
- Conduct surveys of members and suppliers and report on member satisfaction.
- Maintain current and accurate membership databases, tags and records in designated software on a timely basis
The appropriate individual will have demonstrated experience in the following:
- Bachelor of Science (BS) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Marketing or Management required.
- Direct contact, member driven service organization/business model that involves connecting members to service and purchased goods.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
- Outstanding front line customer service that puts the member's needs first.
- Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and deliverables.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to manage and interpret data.
- Database experience, including search, report writing and data compilation.
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
- Work without close supervision and execute strategic plans to meet member/supplier needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint and Word required).
- This is a remote position that requires regional travel to member meetings. Other travel is required to support company sponsored events.
