Helps to build positive Member relations by providing prompt, efficient, accurate, courteous and personalized service to Members, potential Members, vendors, and guests of the Credit Union. Greets, helps determine needs, and directs visitors appropriately. Responsible for performing a wide variety of receptionist and clerical duties, including overseeing Guest Security Management Program. Performs Member service tasks associated with processing Member transactions. Supports all branch roles in the interest of providing exceptional Member service. Represents the Credit Union in a professional manner, supporting sales and service goals.
- Primary accountability for maintaining a functioning branch lobby; including reporting ATM performance issues to appropriate contact/s, providing exceptional service to all Members, potential Members and corporate guests with accuracy, courtesy, friendliness, timeliness and in a professional manner, greeting all guests, and directing Member traffic as required. Ensure lobby and branch are kept clean, including supply room, ATM room - ensuring all are stocked with necessary supplies and marketing materials. Monitor coin counter operations; manage branch eFax & Velocity eFax; and other duties as required to maintain lobby operations.
- Conducts Member service requests for address changes, renewals of share certificates, account changes, and all other maintenance related services, including supporting Branch Manager and Financial Service Representatives with new Memberships, loan applications, funding new loans, retirement accounts, and other Member service requests as required. Meets or exceeds individual scorecard goals that result in booked sales and help contribute to branchs achievement of sales and service objectives.
- Supports sales activities by referring products and services, e.g. makes sales calls, package materials for new account kits and SEG related orientations. Refers Credit Union products and services to the Financial Service Representatives, or other appropriate CU advisor such as LPL, Mortgage Counselor or Autoland.
- Supporting branch operations in the capacity of a Branch Service Representative as required including, maintaining a cashbox and completing Member transactions under the supervision of the Assistant Manager, which includes supporting monthly operation audits and daily tasks of processing mail transactions, night drop and other duties as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Experience: One or more years of experience in customer service required, industry experience in financial services, or banking preferred. Six months of cash handling experience General computer knowledge (Microsoft Office).
Education: A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills: The ability to motivate or influence others is a material part of the job, requiring a significantlevel of diplomacy and trust. Obtaining cooperation (internally and/or externally) is animportant part of the job.
